Cora Venable Harbourt

Cora Venable Harbourt, age 87 years, lifelong resident of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Monday, February 27, 2006, at the Masonic Home, Burlington, NJ.

Born in Delaware Township, NJ, November 30, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anne Hulley Huffman.

She was formerly the proprietor of Venable's Store, Sergeantsville, NJ.

She was a lifelong member of Sandy Ridge Church, Delaware Township, NJ. She was a charter member and past president of the Sergeantsville Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Sergeantsville, NJ. She was a member of the Delaware Township Senior Citizens, and enjoyed traveling and gardening.

She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Paul Venable, in 1978, her second husband, Leland Harbourt, in 1997, and a sister, Julia Huffman, in 1993.

She is survived by two daughters; Annell Madden, of Holland Township, NJ, and Pauline Venable, of Sewell, NJ; a son, Frank Venable, of Flemington, NJ; a brother, Charles Huffman, of Lambertville, NJ; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the Sandy Ridge Cemetery, Delaware Township, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
