Cynthia Hulse Woykowski

Cynthia Woykowski, age 81 years, of Bethlehem, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in Lehigh Valley Medical Center-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem, PA.

She was the wife of the late Theofil Woykowski and was pre-deceased by her parents, Francis and Margaret Bramble Hulse and also a son, James K. Gustafson.

She is survived by her daughters, Frances B. Bemelmans and her husband, John, of Bethlehem, PA and Lisa M. Woykowski, also of Bethlehem, PA; three sons, Tay H. Woykowski and his wife, Debra, of Marshall, VA, Rudolph A. Woykowski and his wife, Nancy, of Gannesvort, NY and Reinhold Woykowski and his wife, Chris, of Washington, NJ; a sister, Sylvia Hafner of Bethlehem, PA; a brother, William H. Hulse and his wife, Doris, of Denver, CO; seven grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews; and her two cats, Garfield and Monopoly.

Mrs. Woykowski was born in Patchogue, NY, May 14, 1929 and had resided in Bethlehem since 1995 having formerly lived in Raritan Township, NJ from 1966-1995.

She was formerly employed by the Jamesway Store in Flemington, NJ and was later a waitress at the Union Hotel, Flemington, NJ and Pfenninger's Hilltop Inn, Raritan Township, NJ. She also was at one time employed by the Economy Hardware Store, Flemington, NJ and was also an operator and service assistant for NJ Telephone Co., Flemington, NJ.

A former member of the Flemington-Raritan First-Aid & Rescue Squad, Mrs. Woykowski was also a member of the Flemington Elks Lodge Ladies Auxiliary.

Her children and her grandchildren were her life, and she will be forever lovingly remembered and missed by them.

Funeral Services will take place on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be Saturday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
