Cynthia Ann Hunter, born on July 22, 1941, in Trenton, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at her home in Raritan Township, New Jersey, on Monday, March 31, 2025. A beloved member of her community, Cynthia dedicated much of her professional life to the esteemed Princeton University Library, where she served as a receptionist. Her warm smile and welcoming demeanor made her a cherished presence among colleagues and visitors alike.
Cynthia was a sister and a devoted friend. She is survived by her loving siblings: Francis Hunter of Flemington, New Jersey; Sally Hunter, also of Flemington, NJ; and John Hunter of Medford Lakes, New Jersey.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Hunter and Sarah Agnes McFadden, both of whom left a lasting impact on her life and values. Their love and guidance shaped the kind-hearted individual Cynthia became.
Throughout her years, Cynthia enriched the lives of those around her with her kindness and compassion. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. As we reflect on her life, let us honor her memory by embracing the love and warmth she so generously shared.
Cremation services will be held privately under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
Memorial contributions in Cynthia's name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
