Cynthia Knight Mergentime

Cynthia Knight Mergentime, age 74 years, of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, died on Thursday, March 5, 2009, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born In New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Virginia Chapin Knight. She had formerly resided in Oradell, NJ.

She was a graduate of Brown University. She was a master bridge player.

Her husband, Charles E. Mergentime, died in 2004. Surviving are a daughter, Andrea L. Mergentime, of Delaware Township, NJ; a son, Stephen K. Mergentime, of Potomac, MD, and his daughter Samantha ; a son, Michael V. Mergentime, and his children, Emma and Max, of Clinton, NJ; a daughter, Valerie M. Stefani, and her children, Philip, Lily, and Anya of Sparta, NJ; and a brother, Thomas Knight of Easton, MD.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in the Church of the Holy Spirit, 3 Haytown Road, Lebanon, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Cherryville Cemetery, Cherryville, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 5-8 PM in the funeral home.
