Daniel Charles Conti

Daniel Charles Conti, age 86 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Saturday, February 26, 2011 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Rochester, NY, August 14, 1924, he was the son of the late Charles and Sarah Granata Conti. He had formerly resided in Hamilton Township, NJ.

He retired from US Steel and was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was a member of Flemington Elks Lodge and a life member of the Elks.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Edith Jackson Conti; a son, Richard Daniel Conti, of Waves, NC; a daughter, Deborah Ann Tedesco, of Flemington, NJ; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday from 4-6 PM in the Flemington United Methodist Church. Entombment will be private in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Township, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Flemington United Methodist Church, 116 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
