Daniel Stephen Snel

Daniel Stephen Snel, age 27, passed away at home on Thursday, September 22, 2016. Dan is survived by his parents Elizabeth and Stephen; as well as his best friend and sister Sara. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Elizabeth and Tom; and his paternal grandmother, Jaclyn. Dan is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Walter. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him.

Daniel grew up in Hillsborough, New Jersey and graduated from Hillsborough High School in 2007. After successfully procuring an associate’s degree from Monmouth University in Computer Science, he was accepted to Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken where he continued his education. He was also a brother of Sigma Pi at Monmouth University.

Daniel loved his family fiercely and had the type of personality that could light up a room. He enjoyed cheering on the New York Giants, fishing, music, and all things technology related. Dan enjoyed family vacations at Cape Cod, Massachusetts and Long Beach Island, New Jersey.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 15, from 11:00-1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
