Daniel W. Chonko, Jr., age 65 years, of Upper Black Eddy, PA passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born in Flemington, NJ on April 5, 1956, the son of Martha (Cronce) Chonko and the late Daniel W. Chonko, Sr. He had formerly resided in Hunterdon County, NJ until 1985 when he moved to Bucks County, PA.
Dan was a 1974 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School. There, he played football and wrestled. He then went on to attend Rider College in Lawrence Township, NJ. After his schooling, he was employed for more than thirty years as a union construction worker.
Dan was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. In his spare time, he also enjoyed being a youth football, baseball, and wrestling coach.
He was predeceased by his father, Daniel W. Chonko, Sr., who died in 1998.
Surviving are his beloved wife of thirty-five years, Caroline (Green) Chonko, of Upper Black Eddy, PA; his son, Daniel W. Chonko III, of Pipersville, PA; his mother, Martha (Cronce) Chonko, of Allentown, PA; as well as his sister, Deborah Crine, of Bethlehem, PA.
Private arrangements and cremation services are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
