David B. Lovett

David B. Lovett, age 86 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Monday, November 16, 2009, in Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, NJ.

Born in Trenton, NJ, December 7, 1922, he was the son of the late David J. and Cleona Burchell Lovett.

Mr. Lovett was a retired Corrections Officer at The Training School For Boys, retiring in 1987. He also worked as a mold maker at Lennox Pottery, Trenton, NJ for twenty-four years.

He was a member of Flemington VFW Post #7856, Flemington, NJ. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.

His wife, Edna Lovett, died in 1994. Surviving are a daughter, Kathleen Lovett, of East Amwell Township, NJ; a son, William D. Lovett of West Amwell Township, NJ; three granddaughters, Megan Lovett Marion, Erin Lovett, and Sara Lovett; and four great grandchildren, Autumn Marion, Christian Lovett Marion, Zachary Lovett Marion, and Sebastian Lovett Marion.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Fountain Lawn Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6-8 PM in the funeral home.
