David Blain Whitehead

David Blain Whitehead, 65, of Mooresville, formerly of Great Meadows, NJ, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

He was born on September 25, 1950 in Somerville, NJ, to Stanley Whitehead of Oxford, NJ and the late Frances Peltack Whitehead. David attended St. Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville. He was also a member of FLW, B.A.S.S. and played Rock & Roll music. David was an avid hunter and fisherman.

David was also a 1968 graduate of North Hunterdon Regional High School, Clinton Township, NJ.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Theresa Turney Whitehead; children, Paul David Whitehead of Lehighton, PA, Christine Ann Smith of Mooresville, Brittanie Lauren Whitehead of Mooresville, Cara Blaine Snover and husband, Frank, Jr. of Columbia, NJ; brothers, Kenneth Whitehead and wife, Trudy of Great Meadows, NJ, Robert Whitehead of Clinton, NJ, Stanley Whitehead of Oxford, NJ; and grandchildren, Grayson Tanner Whitehead, Joshua Young, and Brianna Bessa.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 5:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
