David Pullen, age 67, died Friday, June 21, 2024, at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township NJ.
Born June 30, 1956 in Trenton NJ, David was the son of the late Cecil and Alice (Russo) Pullen. Growing up in Yardville NJ, David graduated with the Class of 1974 from Steinert High School in Hamilton Township NJ. He graduated with a Major in History and a Minor in Education in 1978 from the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
David formerly owned and operated the Dunkin Donuts franchise on the Flemington Circle for many years. After selling that business, he worked with the MET Team for Home Depot in Flemington until the time of his illness.
A simple man, David was an avid golfer and a diehard NY Yankees fan, David also rooted for the Philadelphia Flyers. He was a big music fan of 1970’s and 80’s music, especially the music of Billy Joel, Ian Hunter, and Elton John.
David is survived by his wife of 38 years, Catherine (Coslit) Pullen, his daughter, Victoria Auden of Raritan Township NJ, and was the devoted PopPop to Alli Rose and Christopher and their father, John Kemo of Raritan Township, as well as his sister and brother-in-law, Michele and Scott Pearson, and his three life-long friends, Ron, Mark and Kerry. David will be remembered as someone who was a friend to all he met.
Funeral services for David will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ 08822. Cremation will follow privately. Calling hours will be Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in David’s name may be made to Hunterdon Hematology Oncology, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington NJ 08822.
