David Suchow, age 91 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, February 18, 2010 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Newark, NJ, August 9, 1918, son of the late Isadore and Anna Fienberg Suchow, he had resided in Raritan Township for twenty-four years, having formerly lived in Union, NJ.
A graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Pharmacology, Mr. Suchow formerly owned and operated Post Drugs, Newark, NJ.
Mr. Suchow was a United States Army veteran of World War II, serving in Italy. He was a member of Or Chadash, The Reform Temple of Hunterdon County, Flemington, NJ.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-nine years, Hilda Friedman Suchow; a son, Dr. Robert Suchow of Readington Township, NJ; a daughter, Ellen Forman of Cumberland, RI; and three grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 12:45 p.m. in Or Chadash, The Reform Temple of Hunterdon County, 149 Foothill Road, Flemington, NJ, under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
