Dawn Jean Hourigan

Dawn Jean Hourigan, age 68 years, of Easton, PA, died on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus, Easton, PA.

Born in Somerville, NJ, August 24, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Dudley R. Hourigan, Sr. and Dorothy M. (Coleman) Hourigan. She grew up in Hunterdon County, NJ and then eventually settled in Easton, PA.

She was formerly employed as a bus driver for Laidlaw Transit Inc., in Hunterdon County, NJ as well as a corrections officer at the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women, Union Township, NJ.

In her spare time, Dawn enjoyed camping, frequenting yard sales, and playing pool and bingo.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, the late Jane Petrella, who died in 2017.

She is survived by her two children, Kelly Kunigus of Bethlehem, PA and Daniel Hourigan of Tatamy, PA; two grandchildren, Rebecca and Natasha Kunigus; her siblings, Linda Haines of Louisville, KY, Dudley Hourigan, Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Pen Argyl, PA, Scott Hourigan and his wife Sharon of Pennsville Township, NJ, and Lori Van Ness and her husband Richard of Somerville, NJ.
