Dean Allen Hoagland

Dean Allen Hoagland, age 63 years, of West Amwell Township, NJ, died on Friday, June 22, 2012, in Rolling Hills Care, Clinton Township, NJ.

Born in Solebury, PA, July 4, 1948, he was the son of the late Alice Hoagland.

He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was a member of American Legion Toscanni Post, Lambertville, NJ.

He was an avid hunter and walleye fisherman and fan of the New York Mets and New York Jets. He loved scrap metal salvage and junking.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Lynda Ellen Smith Hoagland; two sons, Dean A. Hoagland, Jr. of King George, VA, and William Allen Hoagland of Phillipsburg, NJ; a daughter, Pamela Lynn Torres of West Amwell Township, NJ; his father-in-law, Arthur J. Smith, of Sherburne, NY; his brother, Jody Samuel Doughty of High Bridge, NJ;and he was the loving grandfather of Kirstyn Len, Kaelyn Taylor, Zachary Sean, Brenden Tyler, Amy Grace, and Guenther Alexander.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012, at 3PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
