Deborah S. Baranek

Deborah Susan Baranek, age 60 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, on June 10, 1960, Deborah was the daughter of the late Wilton and Doris Butler (nee Killough), and she grew up in Roselle Park, NJ and lived in Clinton Township, NJ for the past 30 years. Deborah was a loving wife, mother and mom-mom and devoted her life to caring for and home schooling her six children. She was a tireless advocate for her two autistic children, dedicating countless hours to ensure their needs were met and rights were honored. She also had a passion for helping others in need of assistance related to disability rights. An avid member of South Ridge Community Church in Clinton, NJ, Deborah loved to travel the world with her husband, read, scrapbook, go antiquing, and spend time with her family. Surviving are her loving husband of thirty-eight years, David Baranek; six children, Katie Mancuso and husband, Lou Mancuso, Kevin Baranek and wife, Devon Baranek (nee Rolleri), Craig Baranek, Tracey Baranek, Hunter Baranek, and Hayley Baranek; four grandchildren, Alice, Will, Hazel, and Jack Baranek; one sister Linda Himpele (nee Butler) and husband, Richard Himpele. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the private memorial service being held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 11:00am from the South Ridge Community Church, Clinton, NJ, will be live streamed via the following link: www.southridgecc.org/funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
