Delbert Keyes, age 98 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Thursday, August 21, 2014 in the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
He was born in Carbondale, PA, November 7, 1915, son of the late Miner and Agnes McMyne Keyes. He had formerly resided in Irvington, NJ.
He was a retired sheet metal fabricator with Union Local 10, Carlstadt, NJ.
He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.
His wife, Anna Lorraine Koellhoffer Keyes, died in 1988 as well as a daughter, Diane Keyes in 1979.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Richard Kacvinski, of Raritan Township, NJ; a step-brother, Ralph Lewis, of Bridgewater, NJ; his grandchildren: Cindy Martin, Kimberly Kacvinski- Tobias, and Karen Kacvinski-Tollin; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 10 AM in the Three Bridges Reformed Church, 470 Main Street, Three Bridges, NJ. Interment will be in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 6-8 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
