Denise A. Houser

Denise A. Houser, age 61, died Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township NJ. She lived in Hunterdon County NJ all of her life.

Born October 10, 1959 in Doylestown PA, Denise was the daughter of the late Daniel and Jean (Ciffelli) Bedford. She grew up in Lambertville NJ and graduated from South Hunterdon Regional High School in the Class of 1978. In her youth, Denise loved spending time at the Jersey Shore, especially boating with her uncle and other family members.

She married Robert M. Houser and the two moved to Flemington where they have lived since. Denise enjoyed online gaming, particularly the game “2nd Life.” She was a fan of oldies music, especially from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. Denise would often write short poems and stories for her close friends and family.

Denise is survived by her husband of 33 years, Robert Houser, her daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Michael Roberts of Big Spring TX, her daughter, Danielle Houser of Philadelphia PA, her son, Connor Houser of Pemberton NJ, her brother, Daniel Bedford, Jr., and her eight grandchildren, Sawyer Roberts, Kaylee Roberts, Jayden Roberts, triplets, Andrew, Zachary and Daniel Roberts, as well as Eric Alexander Cruz and Deandre.

Cremation and burial in St. Magdalen Cemetery will be private under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Denise’s name may be made to the Lambertville-New Hope Rescue Squad, PO. Box 237, Lambertville NJ 08530.
