Dennis J. Damaschke

Dennis Damaschke, 61, of Flemington, NJ passed away while on business in Charlotte, NC on Monday, January 11.

Born in Rochester NY, Dennis worked determinedly in the life insurance industry for 40 years, beginning with Mutual Benefit Life, followed by stints at The Hartford, TIAA-CREF and most recently Metlife. He considered his greatest career rewards the professional growth and achievements of the individuals who worked with and for him.

Dennis was happiest laughing and reminiscing with his many cherished friends; including those from Aquinas Institute, fellow Bucknell University alumni – in particular his FIJI Brothers and football teammates, and his golfing buddies from Copper Hill Country Club.

Dennis was predeceased by his father, Donald Damaschke and his father-in-law, Jack Lemmer. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mary Lynn, his adoring children; Eleanor Damaschke, Susan (Bradley) Bennett and David (Christine) Damaschke; his mother, Marion Damaschke, sisters Marylou Rybicki, Laurie Felice, Lisa Wood, Marjorie Sagneri and Patricia Bardeen, mother-in-law Jane Lemmer, sister-in-law Judith Smith, six great brothers-in-law and ten wonderful nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ. Cremation will be private. Calling hours will be Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
