Dennis R. Kirk

Dennis R. Kirk, age 60 years, of Monroe Township, NJ, died on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at his residence.

Born in St. Petersburg, FL, May 19, 1947, he had resided in Monroe Township for the past year, having previously lived in Manville, NJ and Piscataway, NJ.

A graduate of Rider University with a BA in Business Management, he was formerly a Project Manager with AT & T, Bedminster, NJ for many years. Additionally, he was a twenty-two year member of the United States Naval reserves, retiring in 2006.

An active participant in the Union County Make-A-Wish Foundation, Mr. Kirk was a member and officer of the Flemington Elks Lodge #1928, Flemington, NJ.

Surviving are a son, David L. Kirk of Indianapolis, IN; two daughters, Jennifer Anne Kirk of Manville, NJ and Joanne Kirk of Ringoes, NJ; and three grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery, Clover Hill, NJ. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
