Dillon Cole Wagner, aged 30 years, of Branchburg Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He had previously resided in Morris Township, New Jersey and was born in Clovis, CA.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Montclair State University. He then went on to work for the Lowenstein Sandler law firm in office services.
He met his future wife, Emily, on July 11, 2014, and the two were married on August 6, 2018. His family and friends remember Dillon being an extremely gifted musician who had a great voice and could play the guitar “better than Jimi Hendrix”. Additionally, he loved to play video games and all his friends would complain because he could beat anyone at any game with ease. Dillon was also a pet lover, especially towards his rabbit named Poe, his cat named Beh, and his late cat, Tom. He particularly enjoyed spoiling his cats with bacon and his rabbit with fresh berries any chance he could.
Finally, his family remembers him as a brilliant, witty, observant, and deep person, who brought sunshine, kindness, and joy to everyone. He was someone who was impossible to dislike and someone that could find humor in any situation, especially during some of his most trying times. In keeping with Dillon’s personality, everyone is absolutely welcome to wear to the service (to your own comfort level) something colorful, something bright, something that brings you joy.
Dillon was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Mary Snow and David Snow, as well as his beloved cat, Tom.
Surviving is his wife, Emily Anne; his mother, Virginia Wagner and fiancée, Bob Fisher; his brother, Jared Ray Wagner and wife, Rita Vilorio; his half-sister, Grace Wagner; his uncle, Matthew Snow and wife, Marcy Goldsmith; his mother-in-law, Michelle Allegro; and stepsiblings, Noah Fisher, Owen Fisher and Katie Fisher; as well as his beloved pets, Poe and Beh.
There will be a public memorial service in Dillon’s honor on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 3:00 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A visitation will take place from 1:00-3:00 PM in the funeral home prior to the service. Cremation took place privately.
We kindly request that unvaccinated visitors wear a mask during the visitation and memorial service. Masks will be available at the door. Thank you in advance.
