Dolly W. Dalley

Dolly W. (Arch) Dalley passed peacefully January 17, 2023, at the Birchwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke, PA.

Born at her grandparents' home, Jutland, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Winnie Taylor Arch. She came to Flemington, NJ at six months of age.

A graduate of the Flemington Children's Choir School and Flemington High School, Class of 1951, she was a Girl Scout and Girl Scout Leader. She was a member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church and Hopewell Presbyterian Church, as well as the Hopewell J.C.'s and Woman's Club. A member of the Flemington Woman's Club, she served as co-director of their drama group.

Dolly sang professionally, and was a former member of the Bucks County Playhouse, New Hope, PA. She and her husband, Harold, later transferred with his job to Orlando, FL and lived in Winter Park, FL for 25 years. After which, they moved to Pennsylvania to be closer to their daughter and her family.

She and her husband, Harold, celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on July 14, 2022.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Harold, are daughter, Blissinda Waichulis, grandaughter, Samantha, sister-in-laws, Betty Dalley and Sarah Dalley, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will take place on Monday, January 30, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Amy E.S. Lincoln, will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ 08822.
