Dolores E. Bruzzano

Dolores E. Bruzzano, born on May 25, 1939, in Newark, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024, in Flemington, NJ. She lived a life full of purpose and joy, marked by her extensive career and her unwavering love for her family and friends.

Dolores worked over 30 years at AT&T, where she honed her skills in various management positions. She later enjoyed a fulfilling decade at Johnson & Johnson in Branchburg, NJ, leaving a lasting impact on those she worked with.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dolores enjoyed listening to a favorite music artist, such as Linda Ronstadt, Chicago, Simon & Garfunkel, The Bee Gees, Bon Jovi, and Carrie Underwood, often reminiscing about the memories woven through their melodies and singing out loud for all to enjoy. A birthday would not be the same without her yearly rendition of "Happy Birthday" for each family member. Her interests also included watching sports, particularly supporting the NY Giants and the NY Liberty. In her earlier years, she cherished crocheting and needlework, especially the time spent creating with her mother. 

Dolores was an avid reader, often captivated by the romance novels of Danielle Steel. She also loved to travel, embarking on memorable journeys with her sister, including enchanting trips to Italy and an unforgettable cruise to Alaska.

She is survived by her beloved daughters and their families, Donna and Harald Peters of Bloomsbury, NJ, and Karen Bruzzano of Califon, NJ, her grandchildren, Danielle and Michael Van Sickle, Melanie and Justin Bylina, Stephen Raper, and Sarah Raper, and she delighted in the company of her four great-grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Elizabeth Koznowicz of Toms River, NJ.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Stephanie Koznowicz, and recently her sister, Barbara Scotti.

A visitation to honor her memory will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, located at 147 Main St, Flemington, NJ, 08822.  Interment will be held privately at a later date.
