Dolores E. Murphy

Dolores E. Murphy, age 86 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at her home.

Born in Trenton, NJ, March 14, 1926, daughter of the late William and Ethel Bailey Weston, she had resided in East Amwell Township since 1967..

She was Supervisor of Records for the NJ Dept. of Transportation, Trenton, NJ, until retiring. She was a member of the Department of Transportation Retirees and was a former member of the East Amwell Senior Citizens.

Her husband, Joseph Murphy, Sr., died in 1991.

Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Murphy and her husband, Anthony Marino; four sons, Patrick Murphy of Easton, Pa., Steven Murphy and his wife Shirley of Frenchtown, NJ, Daniel Murphy and Joseph Murphy, Jr., both of East Amwell Township, NJ; eight grandchildren, Michael, Angelic, Brianna, Stephanie, Steven, Jr., Matthew, Katelyn and Chris; and nine great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 7, 2013, at 11:00 AM in St. Alphonsus Church, 54 East Prospect Street, Hopwell, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
