Dolores Ekholm

Dolores "Dolly" Ekholm, age 76 years, of North Fort Myesrs, FL, died on Saturday, March 7, 2009, in the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL.

Born in Stanton, NJ, September 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Nellie Worman Porter. She had formerly resided in West Amwell Township, NJ.

She was a retired registered nurse at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ, and a graduate of the Muhlenberg Hospital School of Nursing.

She is survived by three sons, Carl Ekholm of Raritan Township, NJ, Robert Ekholm of Seaford, DE, and Eric Ekholm of Victor, NY; two brothers, Charles Porter of Whiting, NJ, and Levi Porter of Three Bridges, NJ; three sisters, Ivel Cree of Centerville, NJ, Joyce Fust of Clarksville, TN, and Gertrude Dishman of Yardley, PA; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 7-9 PM in the funeral home.
