Dolores Giles

Dolores Giles, age 87 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Green Knoll Center, Bridgewater, NJ. Born in Shenandoah, PA, July 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Elizabeth Chaplinski Kerico. Dolores worked in ShopRite as a delicatessen worker for many years. She had a love for the Jersey shore and enjoyed crabbing with her late husband David Giles, Jr. Dolores was also an avid gardener and loved growing roses and spending time in her rose garden. She was pre-deceased by her husband David Giles, Jr. in 2013. Surviving are three children, Susan Giles, Dan Giles, and Ken Giles all of Whitehouse Station, NJ; two sisters, Beatrice Devine of Milltown, NJ, and Janice Yagiello of Hillsborough, NJ; five grandchildren, Daniel Giles, Matthew Giles, Tiffany Giles, Lauren Price and Courtney Price, and seven great-grandchildren. Cremation services will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Memorial contributions in Dolores’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 USA.
