Dolores M. Antiskay

Dolores M. Antiskay, age 80 years, died Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, NJ. Born August 4, 1935, in Scranton, PA, Dolores was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (Pryzhocki) Majewski. She has lived in Kingwood Township, NJ for nearly 60 years. For twenty-five years until her retirement in 2000, Dolores worked as a legal secretary for the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office. She was a caring daughter to her parents for many years before their passing. Dolores loved to crochet, spending time at the beach, baking, travelling with her family, and especially the time spent with her eleven grandchildren. Her faith was very important to her – Dolores was a long-time member of Our Lady of Victories Church in Baptistown NJ. She was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, the choir, attended many religious retreats with fellow members, and she particularly enjoyed her trip to the Vatican in Rome. Dolores was also a member of the Hunterdon Senior Choir that would bring music to the infirmed throughout the area. In addition to her parents, Dolores was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Majewski, in 1977. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Stanley Antiskay, her son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Anne Antiskay Jr. of Philadelphia PA, her daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Steve Riggins of Mission Viejo CA, her sons, Michael and Joseph Antiskay, both of Chesapeake VA, her daughter, Catherine Antiskay of Kingwood Township NJ, her brother Stanley Majewski and her sister, Anna Lewis, both of Bethlehem PA, and her eleven grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victories Church, 1005 County Road 519, Baptistown, NJ. Interment in St. Magdalen Cemetery in Flemington will follow. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington NJ, and Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
