Donald H. Kuhl

READINGTON TWP. - Donald H. Kuhl died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2002 at Hunterdon Medical Center. He was 85. He was born in Flemington, the son of George and Anna Holcombe Kuhl, and lived in Flemington all his life before moving to Readington Township four years ago. He was a retired self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the Flemington Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder, a deacon, a Sunday School teacher and a member of the Dart Team. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member and past master of Grandview Grange of Flemington. He was a 1936 graduate of Flemington High School. He is survived by his wife, the former Thelma Zielstorff; two daughters, Darlene Hoopes of La Canada, Calif., and Elizabeth Doby of Flemington; a son, Donald of Easton; a brother, G. Marvin of Santa Barbara, Calif., and three grandchildren. Services were held Nov. 7 at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home in Flemington. Burial was at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Flemington.
