Donald J. Snyder

Donald J. Snyder, age 83 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, March 5, 2011 in Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.

Born in Flemington, NJ September 4, 1927 son of the late Clifford and Hazel LaRue Snyder, he had resided in the Flemington area his entire life and was a 1945 graduate of Flemington High School. He was also the Chief Accountant for Elizabethtown Gas Company until retiring.

He enjoyed gardening and served with the US Army of Occupation in Japan following World War II.

Survivng are three nieces, Diane Norris, Deborah Howard and Kim Snyder. Also surving are a sister-in-law Joyce Snyder, two grand nieces and one grand nephew.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Sandy Ridge Cemetery, Delaware Township, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
