Donald W. Malwitz

Donald W. Malwitz, age 66 years, of Clinton, NJ, died on Friday, April 16, 2010 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, August 16, 1943, son of Otto Malwitz of St. Petersburg, FL and the late Doris Mundy Malwitz, he had resided in Clinton for the past ten years, having formerly lived in North Plainfield, NJ.

He was the retired Chief Financial Officer for United National Bank (known today as PNC Bank), beginning his career as a Teller there at age fifteen.

A member of the South Ridge Community Church, Clinton, NJ, Mr. Malwitz was a longtime member of the Jaycee's of Plainfield, NJ and was also a Past-President of the Bank Administration Institute.

Surviving are his wife of forty-six years, Irene Holland Malwitz; a daughter, Alisa Ann Schenck of Dingmans Ferry, PA; two sons, Douglas Donald Malwitz of Fort Worth, TX and Keith Cameron Malwitz of Elkton, MN; a sister, Barbara Malwitz of St. Petersburg, FL; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
