Donald Walter Cooper

Donald Walter Cooper, age 95 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, formerly of Millburn, NJ, died on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born in Newark, NJ, December 2, 1923, he was the son of the late Walter and Ethel Perkins Cooper.

Mr. Cooper received his B.S. in Accounting from Seton Hall University, and spent his career with Bell Labs, AT &T and Lucent Technologies. He was a member of the Pioneers of Bell Labs.

A United States Army Air Force veteran of World War II, Donald loved his country and his family.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-five years, Ann Santora Cooper; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Susan Cooper of Bridgewater, NJ; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and C.T. Cooper Wu of Lambertville, NJ; and two grandsons, Scott and Brian Cooper.

Funeral services and interment with full military honors will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
