Donald William Rinker

Donald William Rinker, age 72 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Sunday, September 15, 2019 in Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ.

Born in Williamsport, PA, January 3, 1947, he was the son of Maynard Rinker of Shrewsbury, MA, and the late June Hyman Rinker.

Don was a graduate of South Williamsport High School. He worked for Burkett Supply Company, Flemington, NJ for over thirty years. He had previously worked for Fimbel Door in Whitehouse.

Don was an avid racing fan, and member of the Flemington Speedway Historical Society. He volunteered for Mr. Fix It and loved fixing things for others. He was also an active volunteer at the Hunterdon Care Center.

In addition to his mother, Don was predeceased by his wife of fifty years, Karen Anne Rinker, in 2018, and his sister, Debbie, in 2013. Surviving are his father and stepmother, Maynard and Jean Rinker, of Shrewsbury, MA; his son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Christy Rinker of Harrisburg, PA; and his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Charity Rinker of Ringoes, NJ.

A memorial service officiated by Rev. Christopher Small will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service in the funeral home.
