Donna Clinger, age 58, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away on July 10, 2018 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born July 27, 1959 in Latrobe, PA, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Mary (Chappell) Brinker. She spent her childhood in Ligonier, PA before graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. She went on to graduate with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University.
Donna worked as a social worker for Alternatives in Raritan Borough, NJ. She loved her job and was proud of her work. She was a wonderful mother, and was always there for her daughter, Michelle. Whether it be a horse show, or a Girl Scout meeting, you were sure to find Donna there.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Vonnie Lenhart in 2018.
Surviving are her husband, Corey Clinger; her daughter, Michelle Clinger of Flemington; and her sister, Debra Highland of Frederick, MD.
Funeral services officiated by the Reverend Mother Ann Holt will take place on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at noon in Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Visitation will be on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
