Dorcas J. Hill, age 101 years, of Hillsborough Township, NJ, died Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Foothill Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Hillsborough Township.

Born in North Branch, NJ, July 9, 1912, daughter of the late William T. and Elizabeth Ten Eyck Jelliffe, she had resided most of her life in Hillsborough Township except for fifteen years in New Bloomfield, PA. from 1982-1997.

A 1930 graduate of Flemington High School, she was an eighty-five year member of the Clover Hill Reformed Church and was also a member of the Womens Guild there.

A homemaker, her husband, Russell Hill, died in 1975, a son, R. Everett Hill, in 1979 and her daughter-in-law, Myrtle Hill, died in 2011. She was also pre-deceased by two brothers and a sister, John D. Jelliffe, William T. Jelliffe II, and Anna B. Kline.

Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Hill Stockman of Hillsborough Township, NJ, and Martha Smith of Ickesburg, PA.; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 5, 2013, at 11:00AM in the Clover Hill Reformed Church, 890 Amwell Road, Clover Hill, NJ. Interment will be in Clover Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday 10:00-11:00AM at the church.
