Doris Ann Hoffman Miller

Doris Ann Hoffman Miller, age 73, of Robbinsville, NC, passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at Britthaven of Graham.

A native of New Jersey, she had lived in Robbinsville since 1974. She was the daughter of the late Martin T. and Blanche Higgins Hoffman.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William F. Miller, Sr.; her sons and daughters-in-law, William F. Miller, Jr. and Carmen, of Prosperity, SC, and Mike Miller and Karen of Robbinsville, NC; her daughters and son-in-law, Linda Fleming and Joyce and Michael Whaley, all of Kodak, TN; her sister and brother in law, Joyce and Jerry Kanach of Ringoes, NJ; and her uncle, Paul Huffman of Flemington, NJ. She has seven grandchildren, Misty Miller, William F. Miller III, Kisha Donlea, Janis Carpenter, Sierra Lovelace, Amanda Whaley, and Jackie Whaley; and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, January 14, 2011 at Cedar Cliff Baptist Church. The Reverend Daniel Stewart will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the church, prior to the service. Committal services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Carver Cemetery.
