Doris Dechiaro

Doris DeChiaro, age 93 years, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at her residence.

Born in Staten Island, NY, June 19, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Perina Moran. She had previously resided in Toms River, NJ after living in Staten Island for over fifty years and was a graduate of Port Richmond High School.

She retired from Sears, Staten Island, NY, where she was an Administrative Assistant.

Her husband of seventy-three years, Ottaviano Thomas DeChiaro, died in 2012. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Louis Parisi, of Franklin Township, NJ; three grandchildren: Terese Parisi and partner Kris, Mark Parisi and husband Jael, and Steven Parisi and wife Patricia; and her dear nieces and nephews, Larry, Rick, Susan, Lorilee, Carol, and Patty.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. Entombment will be in Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island, NY. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 1-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
