Mrs. Doris M. Holland, of Clinton Township, NJ, died on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at her residence.
Mrs. Holland was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Kathryn Fitzgibbon Brownrigg and Corneilus Brownrigg, the founder of the American Chemical Company, Jersey City, NJ. She lived most of her life in Bloomfield and Glen Ridge, NJ before moving to Clinton, NJ twenty-six years ago.
A Communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Annandale, NJ, Mrs. Holland wasa former member of the Parents Guild of Lacordaire Academy in Upper Montclair and was a volunteer and supporter of various Catholic Charities and associated organizations.
In her earlier years, Mrs. Holland was employed by the JC Penny Company in their corporate offices in New York City, NY.
Her beloved husband, Edward A., died in 2003. Surviving are her two beloved daughters, Mrs. June Rosato of Clinton Township, NJ and Mrs. Denise Bennett of Doylestown, PA and her three grandsons, Alex Rosato, Gregory Rosato and Ryan Bennett.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at 11 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2005 in the Church under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
