Doris Stryker

Doris Stryker, age 71 years, of Greentown, PA, died on Thursday, March 26, 2009 in Geisinger Hospital, Danville, PA.

Born in Cedar Grove, NJ, November 14, 1937, she was the daughter of the late George and Evelyn Strang Preisig. She had formerly resided in Flemington, NJ, and Washington, NJ, residing in Greentown, PA for the past fifteen years.

She had formerly been employed by Shop Rite, Flemington, NJ, and later in the ditribution department of the Star-Ledger, Newark, NJ.

Her husband, Irving W. Stryker, died in 1990. Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Luster, of Flemington, NJ; a son, Kenneth Stryker of Flemington, NJ; a sister, Nancy Fifield, of Easton, PA; six grandchildren; and her companion, Richard Hunt, of Greentown, PA.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009, at 2 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours.
