Dorothy A. Norcross

Dorothy A. Norcross (Dottie), age 85 years, died on Monday, October 31, 2005 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Dorothy was a life-long resident of Connecticut, residing the last few years with family in both Connecticut and New Jersey.

Dorothy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who retired after fourty years with the Chandler Evans Corporation in West Hartford, CT as a Data Processing Supervisor.

She was a member of St. Helena's Roman Catholic Church in West Hartford, CT and was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, Cyril Donald Norcross in 1990. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Bert Hall of Florida and Charles Hall of Connecticut.

Surviving are two daughters, Carol Galanos and her husband Dino of Annandale, NJ and Patricia Chiarenza and her husband Anthony of South Windsor, CT; a sister, Mary Campbell of Moodus, CT; five grandchildren, Jennifer Kupcho of Hewitt, NJ, Diane Kargo of Lancaster, PA, Michael and John Chiarenza, both of Manchester, CT, and Melissa Chiarenza of South Windsor, CT; and four great-grandchildren, Jordan and Ashlyn Kupcho, Jake Kargo and Gianna Chiarenza.

Visitation will take place Friday at the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, West Hartford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday in St. Helena's Roman Catholic Church, West Hartford, CT followed by interment in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill, CT.
