Dorothy Agnes Kubis

Dorothy Agnes Kubis, age 93, died Friday, September 4, 2015, at Olney Assisted Living in Olney, Maryland, where she lived for a brief time. Born November 5, 1921, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Christopher and Agnes (Cook) Van Hook. She later married the late Edward Kubis, and she lived in Milford DE, and Flemington NJ for many years. She was a member of the Calvary Episcopal Church in Flemington, the Garden Club, the Century Club and the Christ Church Choir, all in Milford, DE. In addition to her parents and her husband, Edward Kubis, in 1974, Dorothy was predeceased by her brother, Elmer. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Michael Rich of St. Marys, GA, her son and daughter-in-law, Edward Kubis and Debra Rosenberg of Olney, MD, and her grandchildren, David Rich, Lisa Rich McIvor, Daniel Kubis, and Elizabeth Kubis, as well as five great-grandchildren. Graveside services and burial in Prospect Hill Cemetery officiated by Rev Harry Mazujian, Rector of Calvary Episcopal Church, is being planned for a later date under the direction of Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
