Dorothy H. Suharik

Dorothy H. Suharik, age 85 years, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Lopatcong Care Center, Lopatcong Township, NJ. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, April 10, 1934, daughter of the late Russell and Ruth Hungerford Hays she had formerly resided in Hunterdon County over fifty years. Dorothy was a retired teacher, who formerly taught at the East Amwell Township School, Ringoes, NJ and later at the Barley Sheaf School, Raritan Township School for over twenty years. Dorothy was a graduate of Kutztown University. Her husband, Thomas Suharik, died in 2010. Surviving are three sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas and Wendy Suharik of Woodland, CA., Andrew Suharik of Flemington, NJ and David Suharik of Phillipsburg, NJ; a sister, Jeannette Andary in Dubai; and three grandchildren. Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ, will be private under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
