Douglas (Doug) S. Krieg

Douglas S. Krieg, age 50 years, of Flemington, NJ, died on Monday, March 15, 2010 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.

Born in Hempstead, NY, June 30, 1959, he was the son of the late Edwin and Beatrice Dusmann Krieg. He had formerly resided in San Jose, CA.

He was a 1977 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School, Flemington, NJ, and received his B.A. in Criminal Justice in 1983 from the University of South Carolina.

Mr. Krieg was the Recreation and Transportation Coordinator for the Arc of Hunterdon County. He was also a substitute teacher at Hunterdon Central High School and at the High Bridge Middle School.

Doug had a lifelong love of music and listened to his vinyl records.

Surviving are his wife, Katie Danziger Krieg; and two brothers, James Krieg of Boise, ID and Charles Krieg of Enfield, CT.

A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
