Dr. Lorna I. Statile, age 56 years, of New York City, NY, died on Saturday, August 7, 2004 at her home.
Born in Brisbane, Australia, March 21, 1948, she was the daughter of Lorna Poeppel Statile of Flemington, NJ, and the late Joseph Statile, Sr.
She had resided in New York City for the past twenty years, where she practiced as an internist and anesthesiologist at NYU Hospital, and later at Cabrini Hospital.
She was a graduate of Rutgers University, and the University of Brussels, Belgium.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are three sisters: Carmela Parker, of Carmine, TX; Aneeahseah Lefler, of Medford, OR, and Antoinette Keesey, of Flemington, NJ; and a brother, Frederick Statile, of Hawaii.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Flemington, NJ. There will be no calling hours.
