Earl William “Bill” Davis, Sr., age 83 years, of the Sandbrook section of Delaware Township, NJ died on Friday, July 17, 2020 at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ on November 25, 1936, he was the son of the late John and Helen Zubita Davis.
Bill was a self-employed masonry contractor and lived most of his life in Delaware Township, NJ.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Jones Davis, in 1999 and by his siblings, Vince, John, George, Helen, and Millie. Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law, Earl and Patti Davis, Jr, of Frenchtown, NJ, Robert and Ruth Davis, of Hellertown, PA, and Barry Davis of Sandbrook, NJ; his three grandchildren, Travis, Katelynn, and Ashley Davis; his five great-grandchildren, Blake, Kendall, Star, Roselee, and Lily; his brothers, Joe and Tom Davis, and his sisters, Alice and Maggie.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 pm, followed by a prayer service in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
Memorial contributions in Bill’s name may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 28 W 44th St #609, New York, NY 10036.
