Edith J. Storr, age 102 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Friday, October 1, 2004 at her residence.
Born in Raritan Township, NJ, August 15, 1902, daughter of the late Rex and Sarah Case Miller, she had resided in Hunterdon County all her life.
She was formerly a model and later a seamstress at Flemington Fur Company, Flemington, NJ. She was a member of the Amwell Church of the Brethern, Delaware Township, NJ and of its Busy Bees Guild. She was also a member of the Lucky 13 Card Club and Order of Pocohantas Lodge, Flemington, NJ.
Her husband, John William Storr, died in 1977 and a son, Kenneth Storr, died in 1981. Surviving are six sons, Roger Storr, Grenelle Storr and Paul Storr, all of Flemington, NJ, Burdette Storr of Flagler Beach, FL, Richard Storr of Shallotte, NC and Robert Storr of Sergeantsville, NJ; two daughters, Wenonah Stover and Mary Miller, both of Ringoes, NJ; a sister, Florence Miller of Flemington, NJ; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Ringoes, NJ.
