Edith Johannsen

Edith Johannsen, age 95 years, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in Phillipsburg Center.

Born in New York City, NY, May 4, 1918, she had resided in Hunterdon County for over twenty years, mostly living at the Delta Community Support House in High Bridge, NJ, where she formed many loving relationships with both the other residents and staff.

Edith was pre-deceased by a daughter, Carol Ann.

She is survived by one daughter; several nieces and nephews; as well as the Delta Community Support Family.

Funeral Services will take place Monday, August 26, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ with the Rev. Thomas Roberts, officiating. Friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Monday. Interment will follow in the family plot in Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, NY.
