Edmund J. Novak, Jr.

Edmund Joseph Novak, Jr., "The Nov", of Alexandria Township, NJ passed away on Saturday, December 19th, 2020 at his home. He was 69 years old. He was born on February 22, 1951, the son of the late Edmund and Regina Novak. He grew up in Hillside, NJ and later resided in Alexandria Township, NJ where he raised his family. Edmund spent over 35 years working as a General Store Manager at Pathmark where he made multiple friendships that have lasted to this day. He was also a full-on handyman and was always keeping busy on home projects. In addition, Edmund was an athlete for many years and loved playing basketball, whether it was on the Madison Square Garden court or in the driveway with his girls. He enjoyed coaching his three daughters throughout their childhood and when he was not coaching, he was always on the sidelines cheering them on. Most importantly, Edmund was a proud father of his three daughters, Lauryn, Jaclyn and Tracy. A proud grandfather of his two grandchildren, Cayden and Stefan, and a proud father-in-law to his son-in-law, Erik, as well as a proud husband to his former wife, Karen. He also left behind his sister, Barbara, whom he maintained a very close relationship with and loved immensely.
