Edna Naticzak Strimple, age 88 years, of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, died on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital, Pemberton Township, NJ.

Born in Chicago, IL, March 28, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Naticzak (nee Stoffa) and had lived in Franklin Township for the past eleven years, previously residing in Readington Township, NJ.

Edna had been an active volunteer at Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Washington, NJ. She had also been a member of Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges. She was always ready to have family and friends gather for picnics, parties and holiday meals.

Her beloved husband of fifty-six years, Garwood G. Strimple, died in 2004. She was additionally predeceased by two brothers, Michael and Matthew and by three sisters, Mary Ann, Catherine and Joyce.

Her gentle spirit will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Garnett Strimple of Somerset, NJ and Mary Ann and husband Bob Bowden of Franklin Township, NJ; and her sister, Alice Naticzak of Washington, NJ.

Funeral Services will take place on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
