Edward B. Wood

Edward B. Wood, age 58 years, of Flemington, NJ, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his home.

Born in Nyack, NY, December 10, 1955, son of Dr. Irwin Wood and the late Barbara Wininger Wood, he had resided in Flemington, NJ with his longtime companion Leslie Rogers for fifteen years and had formerly resided in Pennington, NJ.

A salesman for the Flemington Car and Truck Country, Ed was an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle rider. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, skiing and making people laugh with his quick wit. Ed had a unique way of connecting with people which resulted in many lifelong relationships

He is pre-deceased by his mother Barbara Wininger Wood. Surviving are his father Dr. Irwin Wood, step-mother, Barbara Wood of Wolfeboro, NH; two brothers and a sister –in-law, Jonathan Wood of Boise, Idaho, Peter and Diane Wood of Annapolis, Maryland; a niece and nephew, Jonnie and Gertrude Wood of Boise, Idaho; his longtime companion, Leslie Rogers and Leslie’s children, Christopher, Kyle and Carly Rogers of Flemington, NJ.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, June 29, 2014, at 2:00 PM in Living Waters Lutheran Church, 11 Old York Road, Ringoes, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private.
