Edward Francis Davis

Edward Francis Davis, age 86 years, of Bethlehem Township, NJ, died on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at the Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township, NJ.

Born August 28, 1920, son of the late Harry and Anna Smythe Davis, he had resided in Bethlehem Township for over twenty-nine years, having previously lived in North Plainfield, NJ.

A United States Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Davis was a Postal Clerk for the United States Postal Service for over twenty years, retiring in 1985. He formerly was owner and operator of Ed's Dairy, North Plainfield, NJ.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-five years, Georgette K. Davis (nee Neuhauser); three daughters and sons-in-law, Lynda M. and Anthony Sabia of Bethlehem, PA, Patricia J. and Dennis Russo of Easton, PA and Janet and Alan Yankielun of Union Township, NJ; a sister-in-law, Helen Neis of Blairstown, NJ; five grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
