Edward P. Fugazzi, age 67 years, of the Cherryville section of Franklin Township, NJ, died on Friday, November 24, 2006, in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in the Bronx, NY, March 26, 1939, he was the son of the late Edward and Sophie Yustat Fugazzi.
He was a retired machinist and tool grinder, and most recently worked in the transport department of the Hunterdon Medical Center. He was a dedicated family man.
He was a United States Navy veteran serving from 1956-1960.
He was a former member of the Franklin Township Board of Adjustment, and he was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Pittstown, NJ.
Surviving are his wife of forty-one years, Maureen Clancey Fugazzi; four daughters, Theresa Fugazzi-Riga of North Bergen, NJ, Michelle LiBrizzi of Greensboro, SC, Deborah Hanger of Herndon, VA, and Barbara Jo (BJ) Jacobson of Milford, NJ, and seven grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Church, White Bridge Road, Pittstown, NJ. Entombment will be in St. Magdalen Mausoleum, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
