Edward R. Macmillan

Edward Robertson MacMillan, age 84 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Sunday, May 17, 2015, at RWJ Medical Center, Rahway, NJ.

Born in Plainfield, NJ, July 16,, 1930, son of the late Earle and Jesse Winter MacMillan, he formerly resided in Westfield, NJ and in Bernardsville, NJ and had resided in the Flemington area for over ten years.

He was a retired executive with Philips Corporation.

He was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife of sixty years, Barbara Vieth MacMillan; a daughter, Susan Zehner, of Flemington, NJ; a son, Robertson MacMillan, of Scotch Plains, NJ; and eight grandchildren.

Graveside services will be private in Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, NJ under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015, at 1:30PM in the Three Bridges Reformed Church, 470 Main Street, Three Bridges, NJ.
